Waiting Staff

We are looking for  keen and reliable Waiting staff to join our team at On Par. Ideally we are looking for someone that is able to join our team for the long term rather than over the summer

Duties Include:

Greeting our guests and giving them the best service possible.

General duties such as replenishing cutlery and refilling our condiments boxes.

Taking orders efficiently and reliably.

Maintain a clean restaurant space, this includes clearing and wiping down tables within the restaurant.

Handling payments through our epos system.

Uphold health and safety standards which includes proper food handling and hygiene practices.

Someone who is looking for a longer term job rather than a summer period job. 

Previous experience is not necessary as training will be provided when you begin. 

 

Sous Chef

 

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and culinary excellence, along with strong leadership skills.

Duties:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and recipe development
- Oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation techniques
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor kitchen safety and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative dishes

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Proficiency in food production, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
